Founded in 1995, Qicai Press has been a trusted name in book printing for over 30 years. Based in Guangzhou, China — the heart of global print manufacturing — we combine traditional craftsmanship with modern offset printing technology to deliver exceptional books to publishers worldwide.
Our Story
What started as a small family print shop has grown into an 11,416 m² manufacturing facility equipped with Heidelberg presses and a team of over 200 skilled professionals. Along the way we have printed millions of books — Bibles, bestsellers, textbooks, children’s picture books, and fine coffee table editions — for clients in more than 55 countries.
Three decades of export experience have taught us what overseas publishers value most: consistent quality, transparent communication, and delivery dates that hold. That is why many of our customers have printed with us for ten years or more.
Our Facility & Equipment
Our Guangzhou factory houses a complete in-house production line, so every stage of your book stays under one roof and under our control:
- Prepress: CTP plate making and color-managed proofing calibrated to international printing standards
- Printing: Heidelberg offset presses for 1–5 color work, plus digital presses for short runs and samples
- Binding: Smyth sewn, perfect bound, case bound, wire-o, saddle stitch, and lay-flat binding lines
- Finishing: Foil stamping, embossing and debossing, spot UV, lamination, gilded edges, and ribbon markers

Every project passes through multiple inspection checkpoints — prepress proof approval, on-press color checks, binding pull tests, and a final piece-by-piece review before packing. We archive printed sheets and binding samples from every run, so reorders match your first edition exactly.

We specialize in export printing, with particular strength in African, Middle Eastern, and Southeast Asian markets. Our logistics team handles FCL and LCL sea freight, air freight for urgent runs, customs documentation, and door-to-door delivery under your preferred Incoterms — EXW, FOB, CIF, or DDP. Whether your books are headed to Lagos, Nairobi, Dubai, or London, we get them there on schedule.
